Dr. Meltem Mutlutürk is a research assistant at the Department of Management Information Systems in Boğaziçi University. She holds a BA in Econometrics and an MSc in Management Information Systems. In 2023, she earned her PhD from Boğaziçi University. Currently, she is a researcher at the Boğaziçi University Management Information Systems Cybersecurity Centre, contributing to cybersecurity research, IT risk management, and penetration testing activities. She has been involved in various EU-funded and national projects, focusing on cybersecurity, sustainable consumption, and zero-waste management.
Meltem specializes in cybersecurity, agent-based modeling and simulation, data visualization, data analytics, and database systems. She also provides consultancy on enterprise information systems and information security. In addition to her research, she teaches undergraduate courses on enterprise information systems, and agent-based modelling at Boğaziçi University.
Her work has been published in peer-reviewed journals and international conferences, and she serves as a reviewer for academic publications in management information systems.
