A gap analysis of the existing EIA and other
relevant documentation against applicable Turkish legislation, EU legislation, EBRD 2014
Environmental and Social Performance Requirements, and World Bank Group’s EHS
guidelines was carried out to critically review and evaluate the environmental and social
standards and performance (including land acquisition, stakeholder engagement and
biodiversity) of the project. Within the scope of the gap analysis, the mitigation measures
and recommendations were provided.
