CARF was pleased to welcome a delegation of Senior Directors and Deputy Directors from the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Nigeria for a visit focused on knowledge exchange in finance, capital markets and applied research.

The visit took place as part of an executive programme organized in cooperation with the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation Arbitration Centre (OIC-AC).

During the programme, CARF researchers introduced the Center’s interdisciplinary research approach, ongoing projects and areas of expertise across finance, financial technologies, sustainability, regulation and applied research.

The visit provided a valuable opportunity for dialogue and knowledge exchange between the SEC Nigeria delegation and CARF’s academic and research community, bringing together perspectives on financial market developments, regulatory priorities, emerging technologies and applied research.

We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to the OIC-AC team for their coordination and support in facilitating this valuable programme.

At CARF, we greatly value opportunities that bring together academia, regulators and financial market institutions. We look forward to further cooperation and knowledge exchange with SEC Nigeria, OIC-AC and the wider international regulatory community.
