The project aims to transform existing consumption and production patterns and establish more sustainable models through regional and national actions in critical sectors, in line with the 10-Year Framework of Programmes on Sustainable Consumption and Production adopted at the 2012 Rio+20 Conference, as well as the Mediterranean Action Plan (UNEP/MAP), which laid the groundwork for the Barcelona Convention. Within the scope of SCP-NAP, situation reports, sectoral value chain methodology reports, workshops, field visits, draft legislation and guidance documents related to SCP models, as well as the National SCP Action Plan and Strategy Document, have been prepared for the following sectors: food, fisheries and agriculture; consumer products manufacturing; textiles; plastics; automotive; housing and construction; and tourism.
