The aim of this project is to achieve LEED Green Building Certification for Bogazici University’s Hamlin Hall. The project represents a unique case in Türkiye, as it involves the green building transformation of a historic structure. During the renovation of the dormitory building, various initiatives were developed and implemented across sustainable sites, water efficiency, energy and atmosphere, materials and resources, and indoor environmental quality categories. As a result of these efforts, the building was awarded the LEED Gold Certification.
