Within the project, the environmental performance of the full life cycles of powder and liquid laundry detergent formulations produced by Unilever A.Ş. in Türkiye was assessed and compared using the Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) methodology. Different consumer washing habits and usage scenarios were also considered in the evaluation. The project encompassed assessing and reporting the environmental performance of the company’s laundry detergents, providing recommendations to reduce their carbon and water footprints, developing guidance for environmentally responsible product use, and evaluating and reporting the environmental impacts of different packaging types.
