The aim of this project is to assess the environmental performance of conventional T-shirt and eco T-shirt production under different scenarios using the Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) methodology. In addition, wet-process dyeing operations at the selected textile factory were improved through a Clean Production assessment. Within the scope of this project, the project coordinator received the National Success Story Award in May 2012, as part of the Rio+20 Conference.
